 CANgine No.1 is a generic RS232 to CAN converter. It is controlled by ASCII commands via the RS232 link. This allows to connect it to nearly every serial link in industrial, medical and other environments.
Due to its parametrizing possibilities, CANgine No.1 is a universal CAN to serial converter. To avoid heavy load on the serial link flexible CAN filtering is possible. |
 In its smart and small case CANgine No.1 can be hidden behind the serial connector of its host. Two LEDs deal with status and error display.
CANgine No.1 is best suited as base for customized versions as it has the most universal firmware. Even is you have special requests to the mechanical construction (e.g. case, connector types) you should contact us as hardware and firmware was developed at ESS.
