CANgine is a family of smart and small sized CAN (controller area network) connectivity decvices. All products are based on powerful microcontrollers with integrated full CAN controller. CANgine comes in different form factors and cases depending on the application focus.

In all cases full CAN bus connectivity is given. A Bluetooth® version is available for all CANgine devices. Some CANgine devices are also available as protocol chip for direct integration in customer's hardware.

CANgines are found in trucks and buses, in special vehicles and also in automation and laboratory equipment.
CANgine can be adapted to special customer  requirements even at low volume quantities starting at about 50 pcs p.a. This is due to the fact that CANgine's hardware and software is developed and maintained at ESS.
